Poem - You're Special

You’re a special soul

There’s only one you

With lungs full of courage

And a heart that beats true

Only one being

Who’s seen through your eyes

The joy and the pain

Lived under your skies

Your unique pattern

No-one else can be

The fruits of your life

Grown from seed to a tree

Never count yourself smaller

Than any other soul

For no other being

Has come with your goal

Without your true light

This world would be dimmer

So don’t hide your shine

Just let your jewels glimmer

So when it feels like a climb

Just remember it’s true

There’s only one heart

Who can love like you do.
